Centering Prayer

Each Monday at 7:30 pm, members of this group meet in the sacred space of Lynn Valley United to sink into silent retreat for 20 minutes and then pray a selection from the lectionary through Lectio Divina.

People are encouraged to take a 6 week "Introduction to Contemplative Prayer" through the Contemplative Outreach of Greater Vancouver (LINK here), but no one will be turned away for lack of training. Events, resources and support are also available through this website.

Should anyone wish to walk the labyrinth prior to or following Centering Prayer, please contact the church office to arrange it.
