Tell Me The Stories of Jesus

This song from our childhood, “Tell Me the Stories of Jesus” may be much more familiar to many of us than the actual stories the song refers to. “…scenes by the wayside, tales of the sea,…words full of kindness, deeds full of grace…”

Over the next few weeks during worship we will tell some stories of Jesus, stories of his baptism (and ours), resisting temptation (I need to hear that one again), seeking people to walk with him, healing and preaching, secret-keeping. Stories of grace and danger, full of divine calling and human frailty.

This week we will hear the story of Jesus’ baptism, and all that means for us.
