Our Christian faith has a long tradition in healing. Jesus had a healing ministry, and for early Christians, healing was part of what it meant to be a follower of Jesus. In the United Church of Canada, our healing program or curriculum is called Healing Pathway, which aims at being a healing presence and instrument of God’s healing power. Healing is a process that invites wholeness and harmony and touches on every aspect of what it means to be human, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual.

Examples of concerns that may benefit from energy healing may include, but are not limited to, physical injury, illness or pain, a pre-surgery need for peace and calm, anxiety and worries, or a general need for a sense of balance and well-being.

Some of our church members have received training in Healing Pathway. We offer healing sessions two times a month on the second Monday of the month at 11:30am and the third Monday of the month at Soul Spa at 7:00pm.

We invite you to join our Healing Hands email list. Once a month, we will email to remind you of the dates and times of the healing sessions. Based on your needs at the time, you can decide whether you want to sign up for a session or not. If you have needs that arise outside of the regular times or need a home healing session, please contact us. We can work out separate arrangements together.

Our team members are Reverend Eric Hamlyn, Kathy Stubbs, Mary Yan, Sheila Fee, and Veronica Winchester-Catlin. If you wish to contact us or sign up, please email us at office@lynnvalleychurch.com.
