World Labyrinth Day

World Labyrinth Day is May 4, and Lynn Valley United Church's Spiritual Practices program will be commemorating the day with a special event!

In 2009, an organization called The Labyrinth Society dreamed of creating World Labyrinth Day, which has since been an annual international event held on the first Saturday in May. That same year, Lynn Valley United Church began dreaming of a new church building that would include a labyrinth installed on the floor of the sanctuary.

This year, on Saturday, May 4, you are invited to step onto the labyrinth at Lynn Valley United to celebrate World Labyrinth Day.

Since its inception, World Labyrinth Day has used the theme ‘Walk as one at one”  so that people walk at 1:00pm local time in their own time zone around the globe, creating a rolling wave of peaceful energy that circles the planet.
