The disciples at Pentecost believed, that they could communicate beyond every boundary. That the community could keep its many selves in tune, while in motion. The conversation we have engaged in during the Theological Banquet is centuries deep. That two-millennia-long conversation keeps the gospel alive, the church animated as Christ’s unending servant and disciple, and the quest for life in the Spirit anchored in communities of faith.
This particular moment of the church’s life is more vibrant, fluid and complex than any set of labels or descriptions is able to capture and yet together we re-discover how love and faith are expressed in the church.
Join us as we conclude our time at the Theological Banquet together reflecting once again on 1 Corinthians 12:12-27
