Re: Easter thank yous
Easter is the highlight of the church year. Every year it seems that staff and volunteers outdo themselves for two extraordinary services on Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Every year there is an ever more beautiful sanctuary and meaningful worship.
So how to say thank you? Yes, we can shake the Minister's hand as we leave and congratulate staff and volunteers. But I would like to suggest that you also consider making a special offering donation, even if you are a regular monthly giver. Because after all, we know that it costs money as well as inspiration, creativity and love to create this kind of experience.
We used to pass a plate; we don't do that anymore but that does not mean that special offerings are not appreciated. We have a collection box, a QR code, and a website....
