This past Christmas Eve was a busy one at LVUC with three services: our 10:30am Christmas service, 4:30pm Family Christmas Celebration, and 8pm Carols, Candlelight & Communion.

Our family service saw the return of the Christmas pageant after many years in hiatus, though in a slightly different relaxed form. Children from the congregation were invited to dress up with the costumes we had available at the church or bring their own costume! There were some interesting animal onesies in the inn this Christmas.

My partner and I were happy to be invited to take part as Mary and Joseph and got front row seats to witness the kids' excitement and all the lovely folks in the congregation joining in the carols.

Thank you to all the children who participated, those who helped read the story, and our hardworking volunteers who made our first pageant back such a success!
